  • The candidate will be required to serve the public over the phone in matters relating to Employment Insurance (EI) benefits, the Canada Pension Plan (CPP), or Old Age Security (OAS).
  • The candidate will be required to work directly with in-person clients to provide guidance and access to federal programmes and services that support Canadians.
  • The candidate will be required to serve the public over the phone (inbound call centres) in matters relating to their Social Insurance Number (SIN) and to provide support for the My Service Canada Account and the National Student Loans Service Centre Account.
  • The candidate will be responsible for processing claims for Employment Insurance (EI), Canada Pension Plan (CPP), or Old Age Security (OAS) benefits, among other things.
  • The candidate will be responsible for informing clients of their rights and obligations in relation to the type of benefits they are receiving, as well as conducting non-complex investigations to prevent, detect, and address fraud.
  • The candidate must be able to work effectively with others.
  • The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced busy environment.
  • The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
  • The candidate should have an eye for details to submit work or send communications without error.
  • The candidate should be willing to work for long hours in sitting positions.
  • The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks on frequent basis.
  • The candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Windows, Excel, Office, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook.
