Job description
- Candidates must attain experience in communication and ensure proper baggage routing by keeping in touch with all relevant touch points to reduce the risk of mishandling guests’ luggage.
- They will have to coordinate with WestJet bases, Central Baggage Services, and other parties, where we can quickly deliver any delayed baggage to our guests.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have the ability of negotiation when a guest calls or comes in person, act as the arrivals agent and direct them to the appropriate location (oversize area, international connections, etc.).
- They have to follow arrival aircraft information and keep an eye on the baggage rides while entering details into a daily journal.
- They should have to investigate, update, and inform guests of any developments on open delayed baggage reports.
Work setting
- Candidates must have demonstrated ability to work independently with little supervision, solve problems, defuse conflict, and assume responsibility for completing projects on time.
- They have intermediate proficiency with airport computer systems and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- 2 years minimum of experience in a customer-facing position, and
- An asset is having at least six months of CSA experience.
