Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for calculating the capacities of cranes.
  • The candidate must measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting.
  • The candidate will be responsible for performing pre-operational inspections.
  • The candidate will be responsible for cleaning and lubricating cranes.
  • The candidate must be capable of erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • The candidate will be responsible for operating pile-driving cranes that drive pilings into the ground to support buildings and other structures.
  • The candidate will be responsible for mixing, pouring, and spreading materials, including concrete and asphalt, as well as other related tasks.
  • The candidate will be responsible for operating cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas.
  • The candidate will be responsible for assembling tower cranes on site.
  • The candidate will be responsible for operating gantry cranes to load and unload cargo from ships on the port side.
  • The candidate will be responsible for operating locomotive cranes to move objects and materials in railroad yards.
  • The candidate will be responsible for assisting in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • The candidate will be responsible for operating bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move, and place plant machinery and materials.
  • The candidate will be responsible for assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • The candidate will be responsible for operating offshore oil rig cranes to load and unload supply vessels.
  • The candidate must level the earth to fine-grade specifications.
  • The candidate must operate cranes mounted on boats or barges to lift, move, and place equipment and materials.
  • The candidate must pave and rake asphalt.
  • The candidate must clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • The candidate will be responsible for operating dragline cranes at open pit mines to expose coal seams and ore deposits.
  • The candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance work.
  • The candidate must clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • The candidate must remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • The candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining construction machines and equipment.
  • The candidate will be responsible for directing traffic near construction sites.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
