Apar Bldg Maintenance & Carpet Cleaning Ltd. based in Surrey, BC, is looking for candidates for the position of Cleaning Supervisor with 2 vacancies. Job description

The candidate will be required to receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
The candidate will be required to inspect sites.
The candidate will be required to inspect a number of facilities.
The candidate will be required to ensure that safety and cleanliness standards are followed.
The candidate will be required to establish work schedules.
The candidate will be required to co-ordinate work activities with other departments.
The candidate will be required to assist cleaners in performing duties.
The candidate will be required to supervise the workers.
The candidate will be required to co-ordinate activities of workers.
The candidate will be required to recommend maintenance services.
The candidate will be required to arrange for additional maintenance services.
The candidate will be required to prepare budget and cost estimates.
The candidate will be required to hire and train staff.
The candidate will be required to arrange for training of cleaning staff.
The candidate will be required to supervise Specialized cleaners.
The candidate will be required to onlook Light duty cleaners.
The candidate will be required to keep a note of the janitors, the caretakers and the building superintendents.
The work site environment will either be wet or damp with a lot of odor or quite hot and dusty.
The candidate will usually be required to work in an office building.
The candidate may be required to work in a commercial facility.
The candidate will be required to work in a cleaning service company.

Requirements

The candidate should have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
The candidate should have equivalent experience in the concerned field.
The candidate should have an experience of at least 1 year to less than 2 years.
The candidate should have their own safety equipment and gear.
The candidate should have Steel-toed safety boots.
The candidate should be able to work under pressure.
The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
The candidate should be able to handle repetitive tasks.
The candidate should be able to handle heavy loads.
The work will be physically demanding and hence the candidate should be comfortable with it.
The candidate should pay attention to detail.
The work will involve a combination of sitting, standing and walking which the candidate should be comfortable with.
The candidate should be able to manage tight deadlines.
The candidate should be able to work under pressure.
The candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and hence should be comfortable with it.
The candidate should have excellent oral communication.
