Job description:

  • The candidate will be required to work for overtime shifts.
  • The candidate will be required to tend to emotional well-being of children.
  • The candidate will be required to supervise the children.
  • The candidate will be required to care for children.
  • The candidate will be required to sterilize bottles.
  • The candidate will be required to prepare formulas.
  • The candidate will be required to change diapers for infants.
  • The candidate will be required to prepare and serve nutritious meals.
  • The candidate will be required to organize, activities such as games.
  • The candidate will be required to organize activities such as outings for children.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • The candidate will be required to instruct children in personal hygiene.
  • The candidate will be required to instruct children in social development.
  • The candidate will be required to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
  • The candidate will be required to bathe infants and children.
  • The candidate will be required to dress infants and children.
  • The candidate will be required to feed infants and children.
  • The candidate will be required to prepare infants and children for rest periods.
  • The candidate will be required to help children with homework.
  • The candidate will be required to wash, iron and press clothing.
  • The candidate will be required to wash, iron and press household linens.
  • The candidate will be required to travel with family on trips.
  • The candidate will be required to assist with child supervision.
  • The candidate will be required to assist with  housekeeping duties.
  • The candidate will be required to shop for food
  • The candidate will be required to shop for household supplies.
  • The candidate will be required to perform light housekeeping duties.
  • The candidate will be required to perform light cleaning duties.
  • The candidate will be required to assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.

Requirements:

  • The candidate should have a college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
    or equivalent experience.
  • The candidate should have an experience of at least three year to less than five years.
  • The candidate should be bilingual.
  • The candidate should be able to work in the employer’s home.
  • The candidate should he able to work in work settings like an optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. This is not a condition of employment.
