Job Description

  • The candidate must sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products.
  • The candidate will be expected to perform other labouring and fundamental tasks.
  • The candidate will be expected to clean machines and surrounding work areas.
  • The candidate will be required to check and weigh materials and products.
  • The candidate will be required to transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment
  • The candidate must ensure that the items are undamaged.
  • The candidate will be required to label items.
  • The candidate will be responsible for sealing and labelling shipping containers.
  • The candidate will be responsible for inspecting shipping containers to ensure that they comply with shipping regulations.
  • The candidate would be expected to assemble daily orders by shipment location or any other shipping categories.
  • The candidate will be responsible for keeping track of packages, such as delivery notes, invoicing, and so on.
  • The candidate will be required to fill out packing and order forms with the appropriate shipping information.
  • The candidate will be expected to adhere to the company’s packaging policies and procedures.
  • The candidate must handle inventory with care and attention to detail.
  • The candidate will be expected to adhere to the company’s safety policies and procedures, as well as to encourage other associates to do the same.
  • The candidate will be expected to ensure that product orders are carefully packed and moved.
  • The candidate will be in charge of carrying out packing operations in accordance with time, quality, and quantity targets.
  • The candidate will be expected to ensure quality, safety, production standards, work rules, and the efficient operation of equipment.
  • The candidate will be required to report potential production downtime, scrap production, and machine quality, as well as summarise shift data.
  • To reduce the risk of damage, the candidate will be expected to ensure that each box is correctly packed.
  • The candidate will be expected to work as part of a team to pack product by constructing boxes, pulling sealed cases off automated packaging lines, taping boxes and placing on skids, or filling kegs and fitting lids on containers.
  • The candidate will be expected to pack customer orders quickly and accurately, ensuring that the correct number and merchandise are loaded and sent.
  • The candidate must choose appropriately sized boxes or envelopes for shipment to avoid bending, crushing, or shifting of items during delivery. To ensure quality, all orders are neatly and correctly packed in a box. This entails properly wrapping glass items in bubble wrap, placing small items in a bag, placing all liquids in a bag, and packing the standing upright. Adheres to proper packing procedures.
