Job Description

  • Banking Advisor is a full time banking and client advisory position with Royal Bank of Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients and review their banking needs.
  • Provide advice and recommend suitable banking products.
  • Complete daily financial transactions for clients.
  • Teach clients how to use digital banking services.
  • Resolve banking concerns and provide practical solutions.
  • Build relationships with banking partners for client referrals.
  • Identify sales opportunities through client conversations.

Requirements

  • Mutual Funds accreditation is required or can obtain it through the Investment Funds in
  • Canada course or the Canadian Securities Course.
  • Strong interest in putting clients first and succeeding in a target driven sales environment is required.
  • Good problem solving and interaction skills are required.
  • Can work with building strong client relationships.
  • Can work with latest digital technology.
  • Bilingual in English and French is required to support clients in both languages.
  • Work background building and maintaining client relationships in the finance or service sector is preferred.
