Job Description

  • This role is part of Royal Bank of Canada’s Personal & Commercial Banking team.
  • Provides sales and client support to Financial Planners.
  • Job is open for full-time; 37.5 hours/week.
  • Contributes to creating a smooth client experience.
  • He/she helps the team’s aims by keeping up strong client contact patterns and taking part in providing holistic advice.
  • Works in a team-oriented, inclusive atmosphere and enjoys access to Royal Bank of Canada digital tools and resources that make his/her work even better.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Financial Planners with preparation before and after meetings, provide client services, and assist with the implementation of the financial plan.
  • Discover what the clients want, offer referrals, and contribute to the development and growth of lucrative client relationships.
  • Help with the meeting preparation and support the delivery of credit, investment, and daily banking solutions.
  • Offer advice through digital channels and act as a Digital Ambassador by being knowledgeable about Royal Bank of Canada technology.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures while spotting and reducing operational risks.

Requirements

  • Mutual Funds accreditation (IFIC or CSC).
  • Ability to perform as a One Royal Bank of Canada Advisor across different areas of banking, investments, and credit.
  • Flexibility, eagerness to learn, high ethics, and determined to succeed.
    Independently or cooperatively strong with partnership skills.
  • Ability to use Royal Bank of Canada’s ecosystem fully to meet the clients’ needs.
  • Experience in the financial sector as a trusted advisor building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Ability to provide very sophisticated advice across banking, investments, and credit for personal and business clients.
  • Can build rapport with clients
    Educated in banking, investment and credit card workings.
