Job Description

  • The Associate Advisor position supports one of the largest and most productive Investment Advisory Groups at Wealth Management.
  • The Associate Advisor works directly with clients to manage relationships with a selection of their accounts, while also working to deliver a quality client experience and provide superior service.
  • A Associate Advisor contributes to the overall success of the company by directly engaging with clients to help identify opportunities for growth and supporting clients through their relationship with the firm by developing and managing their client portfolios.
  • In addition, the Senior Associate Advisor works closely with all internal partners (advisory teams, product specialists, etc.) in a formalized team structure.
  • This is a full-time salaried position with the Wealth Management platform.
  • Office location is in North York, Toronto, Canada with standard 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and managing relationships with clients in a designated segment of the investment advisor’s overall client portfolio.
  • Provide investment advisory and coordinated wealth management services to clients in designated segments.
  • Assisting the advisory team with the onboarding of new clients, client planning, and on-going servicing of existing clients.
  • Assistance in trading and portfolio rebalancing activities.
  • Identify areas of growth through consolidation of assets, referring to new clients and obtaining new clients.
  • Continue to provide proactive client services, communication and internal coordination with the advisory team.

Requirements

  • RR (Registered Representative) with IIROC/CIRO, or has just finished the CSC.
  • Experience with clients/advisors (a client-facing role) .
  • Language skills: English and Cantonese.
    A degree from a university .
  • Should have knowledge in Microsoft technology.
  • Should have self motivated, and company goals.
  • Should have high communication and writing skills.
  • Should respect other co-workers.
    The ability to onboard clients and credential financial planners as an asset.
