Job Description
- As an Assistant Branch Manager, it is in a leadership position to support branch operations and improve Advisor performance.
- Usually works around 37.5 hours each week in a full-time branch environment.
- As part of this role, he/she assists in coaching, developing, and guiding Advisors on a daily basis. Plays a large part in helping to keep the branch operating efficiently, with great client service.
- Assists with growing business through working together, referral business, and showing up in the community.
- Actively encourages digital adoption and a team-oriented workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Get the sales routines that produce excellent results applied.
- Assist the Branch Manager in making the daily operations run efficiently.
- Great service starts with a happy customer.
- Lead the staff in advising customers, quick dispute resolution, and the promotion of technical tools.
- Work in the direction of others to facilitate the accomplishment of the branch’s goals.
- With intelligent hiring and productive management of the branch’s personnel, the community’s demands can be met.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in managing or coaching people in the financial industry is a must.
- Excellent grasp of Operational Effectiveness.
- Demonstrated ability to bring about business growth and develop community/client relationships.
- A minimum of 2 years in licensed mutual fund sales within the last 3 years.
- Mutual Funds accreditation (IFIC or CSC) is mandatory.
- The CSI mutual fund branch management exam (BCO) needs to be passed, or the person should be able to do so within 4 months of joining.
- Professional experience in the areas of business and personal banking.
- A post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field such as commerce, business administration, or others.
- An entrepreneurial way of thinking together with the capability to detect and develop new business opportunities.
