Job Description

  • The candidate must maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment.
  • The candidate must interact with bees based on their knowledge of bee biology, behavior, ecology, and caste system.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must be well-organized.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.

Work site environment

  • Farm operations include organic farming, horticultural field crops, and livestock production.
  • The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work setting

  • The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
  • The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.

Experience and specialization

Apiary and honey harvesting experience

  • The candidate must have experience in harvesting honey, operating automated honey extractors, and working on a honey farm.

Equipment and machinery experience

  • The candidate must have experience in operating a farm truck and a lift truck.
