Job description
- As an Accountant Technician, the primary mission is to achieve 100% compliance with the financial controls and to maintain all Accounting Processes in a timely, accurate manner.
- Other primary roles include preparing and sending journal vouchers and cheque payments for different accounting processes.
- Identify and fix accounting problems using Data Analysis and Manipulation Techniques.
- Assisted Administration teams (for accounting queries).
- Complete all daily cash settlements and provide a quarterly Financial Statement of Suspended Transactions to the Corporate Finance Division.
- The job involves working closely with system support to begin an investigation when necessary.
- Respond to questions from various stakeholders and provide backup assistance as needed for other team positions.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer support in a friendly, positive fashion.
- Leverage your background in Accounting and Financial Services & utilize your experience and knowledge to facilitate all aspects of the daily workings of this company.
- Utilize your advanced Excel skills to create, analyze and provide reports to Company.
- Perform accounting reconciliations accurately and conformance to the established procedures and policy of the Company.
- Use your mathematical education and experience to help support the validation and review of all financial records.
Requirements

- An accounting certificate or equivalent experience can help an employer determine that an applicant possesses a basic knowledge of accounting.
