Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for clearing fields of wood and stone.
  • The candidate will be responsible for cutting horticultural crops.
  • The candidate must be able to handle animals.
  • The candidate must organize tasks in order to accomplish the work.
  • The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
  • The candidate will be responsible for feeding and tending animals.
  • The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
  • The candidate must provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting.
  • The candidate must clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens.
  • The candidate must perform general farm duties.

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
  • The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.

Work site environment

  • Farm operations include beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots, corn farming, dry pea and bean farming, hay farming, livestock combination farming, other grain farming, dairy, livestock, and potato and vegetable production.
  • The candidate must be able to work in dusty, hot, and dirty conditions.
  • The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
  • The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
  • The candidate must work in all weather conditions.

  • The candidate must have prior experience operating farm trucks.
