Job Description

  • The candidate will be expected to implement pricing and credit policies.
  • The candidate must create and implement marketing strategies.
  • The candidate will be expected to choose the products and services to sell.
  • The candidate will be expected to determine staffing needs.
  • The candidate will be expected to manage staff and assign responsibilities.
  • The candidate will be required to conduct market research and trends in order to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the impact of competitors’ operations on sales.
  • The candidate will be expected to find, select, and purchase merchandise for resale.
  • The candidate will be expected to plan budgets and keep track of revenues and expenses.
  • The candidate will be responsible for resolving issues that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • The candidate will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, and supervising staff and/or volunteers.
  • The candidate will be expected to monitor cash flow on a regular basis.
  • The candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations.
  • The candidate will be expected to provide product training, long-term care information, and information on underwriting programmes, discounts, and specific plan parameters for programmes developed for the supported distribution channels.
  • The candidate will be expected to inspect sample goods on a regular basis to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • The candidate will be expected to monitor staff work and evaluate performance on a regular basis.
  • The candidate will be expected to maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers of various goods.
  • The candidate will be required to provide information required to generate reports to track activities, progress, and strategy development.
  • The candidate will be responsible for allocating warehouse stock to wholesale orders in order to ensure shipping availability.
