Job Description

  • The candidate must build pallets.
  • The candidate must load, unload, and move products and materials manually or using basic material handling equipment.
  • The candidate must read blueprints to determine the dimensions of structures or systems and material requirements.
  • The candidate must operate various types of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
  • The candidate must ship orders.
  • The candidate must pick orders and stock inventory.
  • The candidate must weigh materials and goods.
  • The candidate must prepare labels and attach them to goods.
  • The candidate must provide excellent customer service.
  • The candidate must wrap goods.
  • The candidate must pack and unpack goods.
  • The candidate must sort, crate, and stack goods.
  • The candidate must install, lash, and secure goods.
  • The candidate must store cargo and materials.
  • The candidate must transport and distribute materials and goods.
  • The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
  • The candidate must manage inventories using computerized inventory control systems.
  • The candidate must handle and store hazardous products.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • A candidate with experience is an asset.
