- The main focus in this part is to give great customer service, while also getting checkout transactions done correct and fast.
- You’ll be the one that greets customers, runs their purchases, mentions company programs, helps with merchandise, and makes sure all cash handling steps are respected so the register stays secure.
- You will also help the checkout space stay clean and safe, and keep that good shopping vibe for each customer, no matter what.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers in a respectful and friendly way.
- Handle purchase transactions with accuracy and speed, every time.
- Talk about Walmart programs, including credit cards, product protection, and charity efforts.
- Help customers with bagging and loading merchandise, gently and properly.
- Protect register security by following cash handling procedures without skipping anything.
- Keep the area tidy, while using safe lifting and other workplace safety habits.
- Point customers toward the Customer Service Manager when more support is needed, and only then.
