Job Description
- (CAN) Stockperson/Cartpusher is a retail support position with Walmart Canada.
- You will gather and return shopping carts from the parking lot, plus the outside edge of the store.
- In addition, you’re expected to help keep everything clean, orderly ,and safe.
Sometimes you’ll do basic wiping , and small upkeep tasks if they’re assigned.
Responsibilities
- Collect carts and return them to the spot they’re assigned for storage.
- If a customer asks for help, you should respond fast and assist.
- Check receipts when required, following the store process.
- Do cleaning and maintenance tasks, including restroom cleaning when you’re scheduled for it.
- Before using equipment, complete the basic inspection first.
- Stick to safety procedures ,and use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
Requirements
- You need the ability to work outside in varying weather when collecting carts.
- Must know Walmart safety steps and operational rules as well.
- Must help customers with carry-ins, carry-outs, and a few other requests that come up.
