Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for scheduling the distribution of goods.
The candidate will be responsible for scheduling transportation conveyances.
The candidate must prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
The candidate will be responsible for assembling containers and crates.
The candidate must inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documentation.
The candidate must maintain an internal record-keeping system.
The candidate must record shortages and reject damaged goods.
The candidate will be responsible for routing goods to the appropriate storage areas.
The candidate will be responsible for packaging goods for shipment.
The candidate must unpack the received goods.
The candidate will be responsible for attaching identifying information and shipping instructions to shipments.
The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the loading and unloading of goods.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Work setting

The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
The candidate should work in an industrial facility or any establishment engaged in manufacturing or processing, including, but not limited to, factories, foundries, mills, processing plants, refineries, mines and slaughterhouses.
The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy, busy place to work, with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, working alongside many forklift truck drivers who are moving pallets between shelves.
The candidate should work in a commercial facility, any facility used in connection with or by any commercial operation, including, but not limited to, grain elevators, warehouses, dryers, processing plants, or cold storage facilities used for the storage and handling of any agricultural product, whether paid or unpaid.
