Job Description
- The candidate must load and unload goods.
- The candidate must obtain special permits and other documents required for international cargo transport.
- The candidate must inspect the vehicle’s condition, including the brakes, tires, lights, and other essential components.
- The candidate must perform brake adjustments.
- The candidate must be able to perform emergency roadside repairs.
- The candidate will be responsible for performing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, as well as overseeing all aspects of the vehicle.
- The candidate will be responsible for receiving and relaying information to central dispatch.
- The candidate will be responsible for tarping and ensuring cargo safety and security.
- The candidate must handle and transport dangerous goods.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
- The candidate must have an Air Brakes Endorsement Certification,ย Class 1/1F/A License (semi-trailer trucks), and a Driver’s License (Class 1 or A).
- The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).

Documentation knowledge
- The candidate must be knowledgeable about bill of lading, driver logbooks, inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip), and trip reports.
