Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to resolve itinerary and other issues.
  • The candidate will be responsible for ensuring and monitoring luggage transfers.
  • The candidate must describe points of interest.
  • The candidate must attend hotel, airport, train, and other check-in and check-out procedures.
  • The candidate will be expected to coordinate activities with local tour guides or leaders of performance groups.
  • The candidate will be expected to assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • The candidate will be required to pay administration or entrance fees.
  • The candidate will be required to transport or escort individuals or groups on tours of cities, waterways, and industrial and other establishments.
  • The candidate will be required to confirm transportation and lodging arrangements.
  • The candidate will be expected to plan and coordinate recreational activities.
  • The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and providing a high-quality experience.
  • The candidate will be expected to give guided tours of museums, gallery exhibitions, historical, heritage, and other sites, as well as answer questions and provide information.
  • The candidate must provide excellent customer service to visitors.
  • The candidate will be required to drive a sightseeing or tour vehicle.
  • In the event that the scheduled programme is disrupted, the candidate will be required to plan alternate activities.
  • The candidate will be responsible for greeting and welcoming visitors to the tour.
  • The candidate will be responsible for informing clients about each tour’s itinerary.
  • The candidate will be expected to plan itineraries based on weather forecasts.
  • The candidate will be responsible for gathering and maintaining necessary equipment for each tour.
  • The candidate will be required to tour the Mackenzie Delta Region with clients by boat, van, or snowmobile.
