Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for leading and managing cross-functional teams of Salesforce Engineers, Analysts, and Technical Program Managers while collaborating with business partners and external vendors across multiple workstreams.
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing people management, processes, and delivery execution to ensure scalable and high-quality Salesforce Service Cloud outcomes.
  • The candidate will be responsible for evaluating new Salesforce platform capabilities and ensuring business continuity as features are released.
  • The candidate must be able to lead challenging trade-off discussions and decision-making processes with stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the right skills are applied to the right problems through empathetic coaching, technical mentorship, skills development, and career path leadership.
  • The candidate will be responsible for driving the delivery of software solutions that meet business and technical requirements while ensuring resilience, observability, performance, security, and maintainability.
  • The candidate will be responsible for leading the resolution of production incidents and platform issues in alignment with incident, problem, and change management standards to ensure operational excellence and stability.
  • The candidate will be responsible for conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or possess equivalent practical experience.
  • The candidate must have 8–10 years of experience in information technology, including leading complex global technology initiatives.
  • The candidate will be required to have more than 4 years of experience managing and developing cloud-based engineering teams, preferably within Salesforce or SaaS environments.
  • The candidate must have a strong understanding of enterprise technology, including e-commerce platforms such as CommerceTools, Shopify Plus, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud, integration technologies including Kafka, Event Hubs, Kinesis, and RabbitMQ, as well as monitoring and observability tools such as PagerDuty, Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, and Prometheus/Grafana.
  • The candidate must possess proven leadership experience in delivering web, mobile, and cloud-based solutions through full-stack teams.
  • The candidate must have excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, align, and build consensus across cross-functional teams.
  • The candidate must demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • The candidate must acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for their actions and decisions.
