Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers delivering exceptional user experiences across multiple work streams simultaneously.
- The candidate must manage people, processes, and practices to ensure high-quality deliverables are consistently produced.
- The candidate will contribute directly to the codebase through design, implementation, and code reviews, focusing on high-impact work.
- The candidate will ensure the right skills are applied to the right problems by providing empathetic coaching, supporting skill development, and guiding career paths.
- The candidate will be responsible for improving engineering quality by establishing strong practices for architecture, testing, performance, and maintainability.
- The candidate must ensure the team produces software that meets business and technology requirements while remaining resilient, monitorable, performant, and maintainable.
- The candidate will guide technical decisions across Swift and iOS frameworks while balancing speed, quality, and long-term platform health.
- The candidate will be responsible for leading the resolution of production support incidents in accordance with incident management policies and procedures while ensuring application changes comply with change management policies and procedures.

- The candidate will be responsible for promoting and enforcing established mobile software development standards.

Job Requirements
- The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or possess equivalent professional experience.
- The candidate must have 8–10 years of experience in mobile software engineering focused on iOS, including direct experience leading complex global technology initiatives.
- The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience working as an engineering manager or team leader.
- The candidate must have a strong understanding of Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C, protocol-oriented languages, and API integrations.
- The candidate must have experience leveraging instrumentation and profiling tools to debug and assess mobile application performance.
- The candidate must have experience working with observability tools such as Datadog, Splunk, Sentry, or Firebase.
- The candidate must have experience creating and managing application entitlements, users, and devices within the Apple ecosystem.
- The candidate must have experience leading delivery teams in a fast-paced environment with high expectations and demanding stakeholders.
- The candidate must have experience transforming legacy frameworks and practices to align with leading industry standards.
- The candidate must have a strong background in CI/CD for iOS and improving developer productivity.
- The candidate must have a proven track record of improving stability, performance, and operational excellence through measurable outcomes.
