Job Description

JOB SUMMARY 

  • The candidate will be required to work in specific areas (or stations), either in the kitchen preparing food or serving customers at the front counter during the ordering process.
  • The candidate’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cooking food, preparing other menu items and ingredients, operating a cash register, operating the drive-thru, cleaning the restaurant, and completing other assigned tasks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  • The candidate will be required to perform food production duties or serve customers at the cash register while adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • The candidate will be expected to ensure operational excellence by adhering to the store’s systems and standards.
  • The candidate will be expected to keep a clean and organised workstation as well as a clean guest area.
  • The candidate will be required to assist in the delivery and monitoring of quality products by checking product shelf-life, product temperature, equipment assembly, and temperature setting.
  • The candidate will be expected to operate equipment in accordance with standard procedures, as well as assist in some preventive maintenance and repairs in the work area to ensure continuity and efficiency of use.
  • The candidate must understand, follow, and practise adherence to company policies, workplace safety standards, First In-First Out (FIFO) stock rotation, Food Safety practises, cleanliness and sanitation, and good housekeeping practises.
  • The candidate will be required to report workplace problems and concerns to the supervisor on duty (for example, damaged or spoiled food items). Takes instructions and implements the store management team’s identified interim, preventive, and contingent actions.
  • The candidate will be in charge of assisting in the proper receiving, handling, storage, and preparation of food and packaging materials.
  • The candidate will be required to abide by and follow all rules and regulations outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • The candidate will be expected to perform cashiering duties, ensuring the accuracy of all transactions.
  • The candidate will be expected to complete sales documents on a daily basis.
  • The candidate will be expected to conduct store inventory in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • The candidate will be expected to train or assist in the training of new crew members, including IFC (task certification) documentation.
  • The candidate will be expected to assist the store management team with some restaurant operations-related duties as needed, such as wastage recording, stock inventory, and temperature reading recording.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate should have a minimum two years of high school education.
  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum 1 year of crew member experience in a similar industry
  • The candidate must have Food Safety training from an ANSI-approved food safety training provider (as required by Federal, State, County or City Laws and Food Code Regulations)
  • The candidate must have Food Handler Certification or an equivalent qualification.
  • The candidate should be well-versed in food safety.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of food production.
  • The candidate should have excellent customer service skills.
  • The candidate must be knowledgeable about Equipment Operation.
  • The candidate should be familiar with workplace safety.
  • The candidate should have excellent communication skills.
