LEE’S HOUSE RESTAURANT, based in Victoria, BC V8N 3E2, is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Server – food and beverage services who are self-motivated and have good interpersonal skills. The candidate who got selected will be required to start work as soon as possible. The open positions pertain to Permanent employment or part-time leading to a full-time job. The shift timings include Day, Evening and Weekend.

Job Description
- The candidate must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
- The candidate must present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers’ cheques, or room billings.
- The candidate must describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers in a clear, concise, and informative manner.
- The candidate will be responsible for advising on menu selection and recommendations.
- The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
- The candidate must greet customers, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about food and beverages.
- The candidate must be able to serve food and beverages.
- The candidate will be responsible for taking orders and relaying them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- The candidate must provide excellent customer service.
- The candidate must have food safety and handling skills.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
- The ability to communicate in Mandarin is an asset for the candidate.
- The candidate must have a Food and Beverage Server Trade Certificate, a Responsible Beverage Service Certificate, a Food Safety Certificate, and a Serving It Right Certificate.
