Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for understanding how Search and Elevation products align with overall business strategy while identifying guest and business challenges that require solutions.
- The candidate will be responsible for creating and owning the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for new features across one or more mid-scale and mid-complexity products.
- The candidate will be responsible for documenting high-level requirements, acceptance criteria, and KPIs that support product strategy and key business objectives.
- The candidate will be responsible for attending, participating in, and leading agile ceremonies while demonstrating completed features to stakeholders.
- The candidate will be responsible for making data-informed decisions grounded in organizational priorities, customer feedback, analytics, benchmarks, industry reporting, and emerging trends.
- The candidate will be responsible for measuring and reporting on the success of features and enhancements delivered across mid-scale and mid-complexity products.
- The candidate will be responsible for collaborating with developers and business analysts to iterate on solutions that balance customer value, business value, and level of effort.
- The candidate will be responsible for defining feature sizes and participating in estimation and sizing sessions.
- The candidate will be responsible for ensuring a continuous feedback loop from stakeholders and guests is embedded into product planning and development processes through backlog grooming, refinement, and prioritization.
- The candidate will be responsible for collaborating with business stakeholders and product managers to understand requirements and incorporate them into solution design and prioritization.
- The candidate will be responsible for partnering with the technology team to support training and rollout of new features to business users.
- The candidate will be responsible for identifying and leading change management activities to support rollout to impacted stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years of digital product management experience, with a strong emphasis on delivering guest-facing or customer service applications.
- Candidates may be considered with up to 3 years of relevant experience in place of direct product management experience.
- The candidate must possess a minimum of a BA / BS degree from a four-year accredited university, with an advanced degree preferred.
- The candidate must possess experience working with digital technologies, e-commerce platforms, and mobile applications.
- Candidates with experience working on products serving end users outside North America will be strongly preferred.
- Candidates with familiarity in search engine and recommender system platforms will be considered a strong asset.
- The candidate must demonstrate strong core consulting skills, including a proven track record of high-quality delivery and strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- The candidate must demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- The candidate must demonstrate experience in developing and delivering executive-level presentations to senior leadership.
- The candidate must demonstrate the ability to drive results independently while thriving in collaborative team environments.
- The candidate must demonstrate a strong desire to learn and continuously improve by seeking, accepting, and acting on constructive feedback.
- The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, including mentorship, vision, clarity of purpose, motivation, and relentless execution.
