Job Description

  • The candidate must lead the design and implementation of complex platform systems and capabilities that support mobile application development across iOS and Android.
  • The candidate must establish technical direction for the platform domain, including infrastructure patterns, automation standards, and tooling strategies, while ensuring scalability and reliability requirements are met.
  • The candidate must make implementation decisions for the platform domain, including infrastructure design, automation approaches, and technology integration strategies.
  • The candidate must conduct high-impact reviews focusing on platform quality and long-term maintainability.
  • The candidate must establish platform engineering standards adopted across the domain.
  • The candidate must mentor platform engineers at multiple levels, providing guidance on advanced infrastructure concepts and career development.
  • The candidate must partner with engineering leadership on platform strategy and roadmap planning and lead resolution of critical platform issues and production incidents.
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and engineering platforms, container orchestration strategies, and cloud infrastructure abstractions to support large-scale engineering operations.
  • The candidate must design and build advanced CI/CD and delivery systems that support complex workflows, artifact management, and deployment patterns across multiple environments.
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for building self-service platforms including APIs, CLIs, portals, and templates to improve developer productivity and enable safe infrastructure provisioning.
  • The candidate will be required to architect and deploy comprehensive observability platforms including logging architecture, metrics frameworks, distributed tracing systems, and intelligent alerting platforms.
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for leading incident response for critical platform issues, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving post-incident reliability improvements.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or possess equivalent experience.
  • A Master’s degree is considered beneficial for this role.
  • The candidate must have 6–10 years of experience developing enterprise platform systems and leading infrastructure initiatives across engineering teams, or equivalent experience.
  • The candidate must have proven experience building and maintaining platform infrastructure using established automation standards.
  • The candidate must have a track record of driving platform automation decisions across multiple teams.
  • The candidate must demonstrate ability to architect cloud infrastructure supporting diverse workload requirements.
  • The candidate must have experience designing compute, storage, and networking abstractions that balance performance, cost, and developer experience.
  • The candidate must have experience engineering intuitive self-service capabilities, including APIs, CLIs, and portals that significantly improve developer productivity.
  • The candidate must have proven ability to design developer tools and workflows that enable teams to operate independently.
  • The candidate must have a deep understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM.
  • The candidate must have experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines, performance profiling, and observability.
