Job Description

  • The Senior Manager of Strategy & Transformation will be responsible for developing and supporting Strategic Initiatives Develop and execute the transformation strategy of BCS’s Capital Markets for Royal Bank of Canada.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive model of the business processes supported by People, Process, Data and Technology (PPDD).
  • Support the development and ongoing maintenance of the transformation roadmap through business case development, and opportunity analysis.
  • Identify and address process inefficiencies within the BCS Operations vertical; research and drive to the appropriate solutions.

Responsibilities

  • You will use your leadership skills and provide support to others to create a Strategic Vision and develop business strategies to implement change.
  • Develop and manage a Functional Competency Framework that serves as a guide for future operations.
  • Create and maintain Change Roadmap, which consists of Business Cases and Opportunity Assessment work products.
  • Lead in the creation of new and innovative technologies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of market conditions and competition on new innovations.
  • Identify and recommend solutions for improvement to BCS (business and services) and make recommendations to improve BCS.
  • Provide information and report to Executive Management on the Change Roadmap and other milestone themes.

Requirements

  • Strategic thinker with an awareness throughout the entire enterprise and a focus on achieving results.
  • Ability to provide insulation to customers through using structured frameworks, methodologies and toolkit(s) as vehicles of clarity.
  • Accomplished communicator skilled at influencing others with his/her ability to create a culture of change.
  • Adapts quickly to engage multiple audiences and senior level presentations.
  • Experience in management consulting or a similar area of strategic/change management.
  • Exposed to Capital Market Operations and has prior experience in the Financial Services Sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of strategy, processes, capabilities, enabling technologies, and Governance Frameworks.
