A Senior Customer Processing Representative has been added to the list of positions at Canada Life, which is based in London, Ontario. This position will be permanent and full-time, reporting to the Administration Manager.
The Senior Customer Processing Representative will be responsible for processing various administrative tasks related to Group Retirement Plans, such as RRSPs, RPPs, DPSPs, and non-registered products. This position will demand a good working relationship with the GRS Customer Service Representative in order to handle their respective case loads in GPAS.

Job Description
- The Admin Manager is your primary point of contact.
- Responsible for administrative support to Group Retirement plans including RRSPs, RPPs, DPSPs and Non-registered products.
- Assist with daily support of the Customer Service Specialist’s operational functions and case assignments.
- Familiarise yourself with and be able to use the Group Pension Administration System (GPAS).
- Use the various GRS administrative processes to ensure effective and efficient process of Group Retirement Plan administration.
Responsibilities
- The handling of contributions, applications for membership, transfers, and withdrawals will be processed in connection with all plans.
- The maintenance and updates to member records will occur on the GPAS system.
- The preparation of any required disclosures will be the responsibility of the employer and action will be taken on defaults as appropriate.
- All inquiries received via phone calls, call-backs, and/or other service channels are to be responded to in a timely manner.
- Assisting in the completion of special projects on behalf of clients will involve the use of standardised procedures and accumulated compliance knowledge.
- Developing positive working relationships is essential to the delivery of excellent customer service on behalf of both the employer and employee.
Requirements

- Strong Working Knowledge of Various Rules, Regulations and Investments/Retirement Products.
- Multi-Tasking and Prioritization Skills.
- Besides Were Able to Answer Inquiries through Phone and E-Mail within a Reasonable Time Frame, Along with Good Communication Skills.
- Proficient Using Microsoft Office, Mainly Microsoft Excel On A Daily Basis.
- Track Numbers & Organized with High Attention To Detail and Ability to Meet Timelines Under Pressure.
- Self-motivated, Flexible Team Player.
- Capable of Attaining Reliability Security Clearance.
