Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for writing clear, persuasive, and original copy that reflects the defined brand tone of voice while expanding it in new creative directions.
- The candidate must collaborate with the creative project team to generate innovative concepts and turn them into effective creative solutions.
- The candidate will be responsible for preparing presentation decks for both internal and external reviews.
- The candidate will present ideas effectively during internal creative reviews and cross-functional project reviews.
- The candidate will be responsible for executing campaigns from the concept stage through completion across all channels.
- The candidate will be responsible for understanding how visual and verbal executions work together to create a complete brand experience.
- The candidate will stay informed about industry trends, including ground-breaking ideas, emerging technologies, and business solutions.
- The candidate will be responsible for providing effective direction throughout all phases of production with internal teams and external partners.
- The candidate will be responsible for mentoring junior creative team members and contributing ideas to support their development.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must hold a degree in a writing-based discipline, such as journalism, advertising, or creative writing, or have an additional 2 years of relevant experience in place of a related degree.
- The candidate must have 5 or more years of professional copywriting experience.
- The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience working on national or global brands.
- The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience developing concepts for web, digital, mobile, social, experiential, and both traditional and emerging platforms.
- The candidate must have a portfolio that demonstrates creative ideas and copy across various media.
- The candidate must demonstrate the ability to write in a brand’s tone of voice while adapting that tone to suit different messages and media.
- The candidate must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while handling diverse writing assignments effectively.
- The candidate must demonstrate exceptional communication skills and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
- The candidate must acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for their actions and decisions.
- The candidate must possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously seek innovative ways to achieve strong results.
