Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for supporting category plan development and execution, along with sourcing strategies for indirect Technology spend.
  • The candidate will be responsible for leading and developing team members.
  • The candidate must support annual Technology sourcing activities from strategy development through contract finalization.
  • The candidate will support annual productivity improvements across spend categories by developing and implementing ideas to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO).
  • The candidate must bring sourcing efficiency to all activities by defining roadmaps that prioritize sourcing categories and events.
  • The candidate must build strategic partnerships with internal business leaders to increase procurement awareness and reach, working collaboratively to develop effective sourcing strategies that align with the fast pace of the Technology market and support business and function-specific priorities.
  • The candidate must link market intelligence and value analytics to sourcing strategy and category plan development.
  • The candidate must use a collaborative and inclusive approach to deliver global Technology strategic priorities and translate them into effective and innovative sourcing strategies.
  • The candidate must continuously learn and understand industry and market trends using internal and external resources to inform the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy.
  • The candidate must contribute to supplier relationship and performance management activities.
  • The candidate must analyze spend data and other resources to identify value delivery opportunities and uncover additional insights.
  • The candidate must facilitate the contract management process, working with legal counsel to ensure agreements are executed.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree.
  • The candidate with an MBA, SCMP, or similar professional designation will be preferred.
  • The candidate must have 7+ years of procurement experience.
  • The candidate must have 3+ years of experience in the Technology category.
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing stakeholder issues and business drivers, using this understanding to build relationships, address expectations appropriately, and resolve complex issues while guiding and supporting team members.
  • The candidate will be responsible for developing category strategies and buying programs for multiple commodities, using knowledge of geographic, technical, and commercial aspects, along with supply-demand and cost structures.
  • The candidate must work independently or facilitate teams to generate sourcing options across contracting, relationships, risk improvement, and category sourcing frameworks, while validating assumptions and ensuring strategy robustness.
  • The candidate will be responsible for understanding negotiation requirements and successfully conducting various negotiations to meet organizational goals, including leading key negotiations, adapting tactics, and ensuring contracts are executed within appropriate timelines.
  • The candidate must manage complex projects with multiple deliverables at the same time, using advanced project management techniques, including control and reporting strategies to monitor progress and changes.
  • The candidate must acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for their actions and decisions.
  • The candidate must possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously seek innovative ways to achieve strong results.
