Job Description

• The candidate must produce reports.
• The candidate will be responsible for enforcing regulations to maintain order, resolving conflicts, and monitoring establishment activities.
• The candidate will be responsible for operating the security control room equipment.
• The candidate must patrol assigned areas.
• The candidate will be responsible for conducting security checks on passengers and their luggage.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must have a CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Security Guard License, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, and Security Guard Basic (Pre-Assignment) Training Program Certificate.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate should have good judgmental skills.
• The candidate should be reliable.
• The candidate should be a good team player.

Work site environment

• The candidate must be able to work in hot environments.
• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work setting

• The candidate should work from a remote location, as the practice of employees doing their jobs from a location other than a central office operated by the employer.
• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
• The candidate must work on a construction site and in a private security agency.

Experience and specialization

Computer and technology knowledge

• The candidate must be knowledgeable about MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.

Type of experience

• The candidate must have experience in corporate building security, preparation of information (evidence) reports, private investigation, and security systems/alarms consulting (residential).
