Job description

• All candidates have to control traffic and obey all regulations to ensure safe crossing of school children at designated roadways.
• They are also responsible for documents, incidents and reports to the supervisor.
• They will use and wear all required safety equipment and clothing.
• Candidates will abide by Highway Traffic Act, Health and Safety Act and City policies and procedures.

Job requirement

• All candidates must be capable of understanding the Highway Traffic Act.
• They must have the ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and writing.
• All candidates must be able to travel to various locations throughout the City. 

Work setting

• All candidates have to be physically capable of quick movement in case of emergency. 
• They also have to be able to stand outdoors for up to one and one half hours in any type of weather.
