Job Description

  • The aim is to improve speed, reliability, and quality in the release process.
  • Job is available in hybrid mode, i.e. 3 days a week onsite at the customer location (250 Yonge St.) but it will be flexible.
  • Involves designing and building CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce and nCino.
  • Automate deployments/releases with Bitbucket + JIRA generally.
  • Partner with developers in the process to have a solid foundation for code quality and develop testing frameworks.
  • DevOps Engineer supporting the Salesforce and nCino environment.
    Can manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
  • Perform automated and manual tests and verify the integrity of the product.
  • Support both development and operations teams in accordance to workflows to ensure the delivery of best fit for the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Create and maintain scripts, tools, and documentation as required that may improve workflows efficiencies.
  • Document deployments, workflows, and quality assurance/ monitoring in Confluence and Gliphy.
  • Advise on DevOps/QA best practices.

Requirements

  • Must be able to know about Salesforce and nCino platforms.
  • Needed experience with the APEX, JavaScript as well as HTML, and CSS languages.
  • Candidates must know about GIT, SFDX, Copado, and Jenkins.
  • Important to know about CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools like Bitbucket and JIRA.
  • Understand QA activities including testing, defect tracking, and basic automated QA.
  • Able to leverage documentation and visualization tools, such as Gliphy and Confluence.
  • Strong analytical skills, and effective in collaboration on cross-team deliverables.
  • Must have Salesforce Platform Developer and/or nCino certifications.
