Job description
- Sort, collect and deliver mail safely and on time
- Learn and maintain knowledge of local roads and delivery points
- Keep mail secure while in transit
- Process postal services such as address changes and damaged items
- Wear and display Canada Post identification during deliveries
- Lift and carry items up to about 50 pounds
Job requirements
- Permanent provincial driver’s license class 5 or G
- Clean driving record
- Personal vehicle meeting cargo and equipment requirements
- Ability to operate a vehicle in different weather and traffic conditions
- Capability to lift up to 50 lb and perform delivery duties
- French language proficiency required
- Provide a recent driver’s abstract within 30 days if selected
