Job Description

• The candidate must inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards.
• The candidate must investigate workplace accidents or illnesses.
• The candidate must manage training and development strategies.
• The candidate must oversee the development of communication strategies.
• The candidate must develop and implement health and safety plans.
• The candidate must ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• The candidate must oversee the preparation of reports.
• The candidate must advise senior management.
• The candidate must respond to employee questions and complaints.
• The candidate must conduct performance reviews.
• The candidate must evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.

Experience and specialization

Computer and technology knowledge

• The candidate must be knowledgeable about MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and Accounting software.

Type of inspection and investigation

• The candidate must have experience in conducting inspections and investigations related to hazardous product handling and storage, workplace conditions, and work-related accidents.

Area of specialization

• The candidate must specialize in facility management.
