Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to manage customer transactions using cash registers.
  • The candidate will be expected to cross-sell and introduce new products.
  • The candidate would be in charge of collecting payments, whether in cash or by credit card.
  • The candidate must process credit card payments by entering transactions into a computer system or swiping cards through a point of sale (POS) terminal
  • The candidate would be in charge of stocking shelves and cleaning the counter area.
  • The candidate would be in charge of greeting customers, answering their questions, assisting them in finding items, and providing advice or recommendations.
  • The candidate will be required to provide excellent customer service.
  • The candidate will be required to wrap or place merchandise in bags.
  • The candidate will be required to accept reservations or take-out orders.
  • The candidate would be in charge of processing customer orders and entering them into the restaurant database.
  • The candidate would be in charge of relaying customer orders to the kitchen staff.
  • The candidate would be in charge of ensuring that all orders are delivered to customers on time.
  • The candidate would be in charge of calculating daily/shift payments and reconciling them with total sales.
  • The candidate would be in charge of balancing the cash drawer by counting cash at the start and end of each work shift.
  • The candidate would be in charge of responding to customer inquiries, issuing receipts, and documenting customer suggestions.
  • The candidate would be in charge of cleaning and organising eating, service, and kitchen areas.
  • The candidate would be in charge of ensuring that the meal prices are correctly inputted.

  • The candidate would be in charge of ensuring a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • The candidate would be in charge of entering price changes using price sheets and special sale bulletins.
  • The candidate must ensure that the highest level of sanitation in food handling is maintained at all times.
  • The candidate would be in charge of appealing to impatient or irritated customers, particularly during rush hours.
  • The candidate would be in charge of issuing receipts, refunds, change, or tickets.
  • The candidate must perform basic math calculations such as adding up bills or calculating the change due on a purchase.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining current system entries and preparing all financial transaction records.
  • The candidate will be expected to monitor menu cards on a regular basis to ensure that food prices are up to date.
