Job Description

  • They’re also appointed at this post to work to the full scope of practice, engage in ongoing education and maintain competency congruent with Southern Health-Santé Sud policies.
  • They’re appointed at this post to ensure professional standards of Practice, College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba, and the Regulated Health Professions Act working at this post. 

Job requirement 

  • Candidates must attain current active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba and the scope of practice as defined by the RHPA to be eligible for this post. 
  • They must have current basic life support certification to be eligible for this post. 
  • Candidates for this post must acquire current advanced cardiac life support certification to be eligible for this post. 
  • Candidates for this post must have Current Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale certification to be preferred for this post. 
  • They must have a dedicated Trauma Nursing Care Course certification to be considered eligible for this post.  
  • They must have dedicated knowledge of Professional Standards of Practice, and Code of Ethics. 
  • Candidates must attain the ability to foster a collaborative interdisciplinary environment that supports quality services, quality improvement and staff empowerment.
