Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to address customers’ complaints or concerns
  • The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of reports.
  • The candidate will be required to authorise loan and credit applications.
  • The candidate will be expected to provide advice to senior management.
  • The candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations.
  • The candidate must complete credit and loan documentation.
  • The candidate must approve or reject loan requests based on credibility and potential revenues and losses.
  • The candidate will be required to calculate and set loan interest rates.
  • The candidate will be required to negotiate loan terms with new clients.
  • The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all lending activities for all consumer loan operations.
  • The candidate will be responsible for determining and maintaining all internal controls on all loan processes.
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing all collection areas, designing all appropriate methods and procedures, ensuring the effectiveness of all loan programmes, and training all service personnel.
  • The candidate will be expected to manage the entire loan cycle process and devise an efficient work plan to meet all business objectives.
  • The candidate must administer all loan processes, assist in ensuring optimal customer service, and participate in all improvement activities.
  • The candidate must establish and maintain professional relationships with all borrowers in order to answer all questions, analyse all credit reports for qualification processes, and document all resources.
  • The candidate will be expected to evaluate all documents in order to ensure the accuracy of all electronic files.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality, analysing all loan information for the loan originator, and ensuring compliance with all deadlines.
  • The candidate will be responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training loan officers in order to prepare them for loaning processes.
  • The candidate will be expected to review loan contracts to ensure they are complete and accurate.
  • The candidate will be responsible for supervising meetings between loan officers and clients.
  • The candidate must create lists of required documents to be attached to loan applications.
  • The candidate will be expected to develop loan rate programmes and demonstrate how to loan officers and clients how to calculate them.
  • The candidate must provide information such as collateral requirements or documentation needed to process loans.
  • The candidate will be responsible for coordinating the process of presenting complete loan application packages to credit departments.
  • The candidate will be expected to direct loan officers to follow up with delinquent clients to ensure that payments are made on time.
  • The candidate will be expected to write and approve letters and notices to clients about loan rate changes.
  • The candidate will be expected to remind clients about pending payments via email, letters, and phone calls.
  • The candidate will be expected to keep up to date on loan types and other financial services.
  • The candidate will be expected to assess customer needs, investigate all options, and introduce various types of loans.
  • The candidate will be expected to operate in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as to follow lending compliance guidelines.

  • The candidate should have minimum qualification of College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
