Job Description
- The candidate is responsible to maintain active registration and also provide proof of active registration with the College of registered nurses of Manitoba.
- The candidate is directly accountable to the manager of patient/resident care.
- Candidates will have to provide registered nursing services for the patients as well as for residents.
- Candidates will have to provide independent nursing services and administration of prescribed medical treatment services.
- Candidates will also get a chance to serve in a leadership role in the healthcare team when required.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain experience in chronic illness and geriatrics and also graduate from an approved registered nursing educational program.
- Candidates must attain the ability to prioritize the care of an individual patient/resident or group of patients.
- Candidates must attain the ability to delegate care appropriately and monitor the outcomes of delegated care.
- Candidates must attain the ability of critical thinking and maintain decent problem-solving skills.
- Candidates must attain effective oral and written communication skills.
- The candidate will have to perform independently and act as a member of the healthcare team.
