Job description

  • The main focus of Regional Sales Manager role is on increasing business opportunities and marketing products and services while assisting advisors in providing financial solutions to their clients.
  • Sales Growth, Wealth, Develop Sales Strategy – Continue to achieve or exceed all sales targets.
  • Work closely with Advisors to understand their goals, objectives and needs of their clients.
  • Identify opportunities for sales and cross-selling wealth segregated fund products to advisors, and provide advisors with Information and guidance on these investment Solutions.
  • Be Seen as an Expert in Wealth Related Areas Including Products, Industry Trends, Regulatory Issues, and Private Wealth Solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize investment products, tools and sales techniques to assist advisors in achieving success.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current market trends and changes within the financial services industry and how these changes may impact both clients and the organization.
  • Work together with team members to assist in building stronger sales performances and enhancing the client experience.
  • Use post-secondary education studies combined with expertise in the financial services industry to provide effective, quality financial solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong Work Ethic – Sales Driven; The Following Industry Designations are considered as an Asset: CIM, CFP, CSC, and IFIC.
  • Exceptional people skills (interpersonal).
  • Exceptional Negotiation Skills.
  • Persistence in Overcoming Obstacles.
  • Knowledgeable with the Investment Products Tools You Use to Sell and Market Investment Products.
  • Must Have a Post-Secondary Education / Relevant; Business Degree or Diploma.
