Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for conducting component defect investigations, examinations, and testing.
  • The candidate must detain aircraft suspected of being unairworthy or unsafe.
  • The candidate will be responsible for inspecting aircraft and advising on any deficiencies.
  • The candidate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data from accidents.
    The candidate will be responsible for preparing draft investigative reports on findings.
  • The candidate will be responsible for inspecting and evaluating materials and equipment to ensure compliance with standards.
  • The candidate must recommend corrective or enforcement action.
  • The candidate must provide expert advice and testimony.
  • The candidate must recommend improvements in inspection, licensing and safety standards.
  • The candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing various mechanical and electronic weighing and measuring devices and systems.
  • The candidate must conduct inspections of establishments and individuals holding or applying for air carrier operating certificates, as well as establishments engaged in aircraft maintenance, repair, or modification.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
