Job Description

  • The candidate must prepare price quotations.
  • The candidate must process files and paperwork.
  • The candidate must provide information on available materials.
  • The candidate must calculate the costs of orders.
  • The candidate must charge or forward invoices to the appropriate accounts.
  • The candidate must obtain price quotations from catalogues and suppliers.
  • The candidate must prepare and maintain purchasing files, reports, and records.
  • The candidate must prepare purchase orders.
  • The candidate must process purchases.
  • The candidate must resolve delivery and other problems with suppliers.
  • The candidate must compile inventory reports.
  • The candidate must verify receipts and packing slips.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
  • A candidate with experience is an asset.

Work site environment

  • The candidate must work in an air-conditioned environment.

Work setting

  • The candidate must work in a business office setting.

Experience and specialization

Computer and technology knowledge

  • The candidate must be knowledgeable about Electronic mail, Inventory control software, MS Excel and MS Word.

  • The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
