Job Description 

  • Candidates working in this post are required to provide a superior and supportive learning experience to students enrolled in an eight-month graduate certificate program.
  • They’re also appointed at this post to ensure sensory analysis of spirits and product development from branding and marketing perspective.

Job requirement 

  • They must attain a minimum of an undergraduate degree, preferably in a related field such as business, science, or engineering to be eligible for this post.
  • They must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in mid-career to senior roles within the spirits industry, preferably in either marketing or production development settings to be eligible for this post.
  • Applicants must have comfort and competence with sensory analysis and tasting labs, including an understanding of the standards of identity of spirit categories to be preferred for this post.
  • Applicants must have additional professional certifications or credentials in teaching and learning to be eligible for this post.
  • Applicants must have technical production experience in Distilling or related lines of the beverage alcohol industry to be eligible for this post.
  • Candidates for this post must have prior evidence of success in classroom teaching or mentoring others.
  • Candidates for this post must have demonstrated an understanding of product development and branding, including provincial beverage alcohol marketing.

Work setting 

  • Candidates for this post must have demonstrated collaborative communication skills suited to a collegial working environment to be preferred for this post.
  • Candidates must have additional professional certifications in fields related to beverage alcohol to be preferred for this post.
