Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for minimizing hazards at all stages of the food production process.
- The candidate must train staff/workers on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- The candidate must recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
- The candidate will be responsible for preparing production and other reports.
- The candidate must recommend measures to increase productivity and product quality.
- The candidate will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and scheduling (and possibly reviewing) the activities of employees.
- The candidate must devise methods for meeting work schedules and coordinating work activities with other work units.
- The candidate must request or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must be able to supervise 5 to 10 people.
- The candidate must have Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) Regulations Certification and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Certification.
- The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
- The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
- The candidate must be well-organized.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
- The candidate should give importance to values and ethics.
- The candidate should be reliable.
