- Candidates must have a good approach to the customer on counter service.
- Candidates also have ability to Process mail into relevant categories by sorting, distributing, and processing it.
Job requirement
- Candidates have to promote postal services and products to the general public and business community.
- They are able to sort, distribute, and categorize mail according to its intended use.
- They have to give customers information and forms.
- They are responsible to address delivery and service issues to thoroughly and rapidly resolve the issues.
Work setting
- Candidates must have High school diploma, provincial equivalency, or business administration experience.
- Candidates also have experience in retail or service sector, including sales and monetary transactions.
- Candidates must have knowledge of post office or general accounting systems.
- Candidates should physically able to push or pull boxes, sort mail, lift postal containers weighing up to 50 lb, and stand for long periods of time.
