Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for providing information and assistance to internal and external stakeholders and responding to inquiries from the public.
  • The candidate will be required to exercise independent judgment when responding to inquiries and resolving routine issues.
  • The candidate will be responsible for processing various forms, including Police Information Checks and Vulnerable Sector Checks.
  • The candidate will be responsible for issuing certificates and performing a variety of administrative support duties.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must have completed Grade 12, supplemented by relevant work experience, clerical training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in a similar environment.
  • The candidate must demonstrate a minimum alphanumeric typing speed of 6,000 keystrokes per hour with at least 80% accuracy.
  • The candidate must demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • The candidate must possess superior organizational and prioritization skills.
  • The candidate should possess sound knowledge of the methods, practices, and procedures used in operating PRIME, CPIC, JUSTIN, and Intelliscreen systems.
  • The candidate will be responsible for providing civilian fingerprinting services.

Additional information

Security and safety

  • The candidate may be required to undergo a police information check as part of the hiring process.
  • The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain an Enhanced RCMP Security Clearance.

Work conditions

  • The candidate will be required to work a non-standard schedule, including shifts between Monday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
