Job Description

The candidate must be able to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications in order to determine the layout of the plumbing system, water supply network, waste and drainage systems, and so on.
The candidate must locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
The candidate must cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
The candidate must join pipes with couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
The candidate must schedule personnel, tools, and equipment.
The candidate must test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
The candidate must determine the piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
The candidate must measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
The candidate should be accurate.
The candidate should be client-focused.
The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
The candidate should have good judgmental skills.
The candidate should be a good team player.

The candidate must be able to work in wet/damp conditions.
