Job Description

• The candidate must operate machines or equipment and use hand tools to cut, shape, splice, and fit plastic materials to form parts and assemblies.
• The candidate must prepare reports on inspected products.
• The candidate must assemble composite materials on patterns to form parts and assemblies.
• The candidate must inspect manufactured plastic products for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards.
• The candidate must mark and re-route defective products for repair or recycling.
• The candidate must make minor adjustments or repairs to products.
• The candidate must visually inspect products for quality.
• The candidate must troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment.
• The candidate must read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.
• The candidate must perform preventive maintenance.
• The candidate must operate machines and equipment.
• The candidate must monitor machines during operation.
• The candidate must monitor machines for jammed materials or defective products.
• The candidate must ensure that product quality meets established standards.
• The candidate must check final assemblies for adherence to quality control standards.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
• The candidate must hold a certificate of secondary (high) school graduation or possess equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate should be organized and flexible.
• The candidate should be reliable.
• The candidate should be a good team player.
