Job Description

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must have a Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, a First Aid Certificate, and a Forklift Operator Certification.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should be dependable.
• The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• The candidate should be organized and flexible.
• The candidate must be capable of acting independently and taking the initiative.
• The candidate should have good judgmental skills.
• The candidate should be reliable.
• The candidate should be a good team player.

Work setting

• The candidate must work in a factory or a plant, and in a food processing plant.
• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate should work from a remote location, as the practice of employees doing their jobs from a location other than a central office operated by the employer.
• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate must work in a troubleshooting and diagnostic environment.

Experience and specialization

Computer and technology knowledge

• The candidate must be knowledgeable about MS Outlook.

Equipment and machinery experience

• The candidate must have experience in operating pumps and compressors, heat exchangers, fans and blowers, electrical and electronic controls, conveyors, forklifts, and hydraulic systems.

Area of work experience

• The candidate must have experience in the area of production and in preparing reports and records.

Additional information

Security and safety

• The candidate must undergo a thorough criminal background check.

Transportation/travel information

• The candidate must have their own transportation.

Work conditions and physical capabilities

• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
