Job description
- Candidates will provide basic nursing care based on each resident’s developed care plan and within the framework of an established nursing program.
- They will encourage and support resident participation in activities of daily living.

- They will report changes in residents’ physical and mental condition to the Registered Nurse and documents as per policy.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have Successful completion of a recognized personal support worker program approved by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
- They should be enrolled at a college or university in the registered practical nursing or registered nursing program.
Work setting
- Candidates must have the ability to complete all required documentation including resident flow sheets.
- They should possess the capability to participate in maintaining a safe environment for residents and staff, demonstrating an appropriate response to emergencies and safety procedures.
